Spotify | Superfan Experience
Through an algorithm, Spotify was able to identify which of their app users were listening to certain bands performing during SXSW the most and who happened to live in Austin. From there, they sent out inconspicuous RSVPs to the “Superfans” inviting them to certain shows with the ability to “skip the line”. If you’ve been to SXSW, you know it’s an extreme game of RSVPing and waiting in endless lines, so most fans were excited by this offer, but had no idea what was really in-store.
Side Label was able to use our extensive venue connections to allow private entrances to shows, set up VIP bar access complete with Brand Ambassador waitresses, and face-to-face meetings with “Superfans” favorite bands. This spanned across 9 venues, for 15 shows with 100 “Superfans” and amounted to countless memories.
